Seneca
Falls' roots run deep and strong. The community
has evolved over three centuries into the Historic
Gateway to the Finger Lakes since our founding
in 1829. The best of our heritage remains today
-- a strong work ethic, a family-centered community,
and an intense respect for the astounding beauty
and resources that encompasses and surrounds
Seneca Falls.

Seneca
Falls has a rich history and is home to the first
Women's Rights Convention in 1848. Seneca Falls
was was also home to Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who
is believed to be the driving force behind the
1848 Convention.
Much of the historic atmosphere
remains in Seneca Falls today in its architecture
and small community life.
